It was a pleasant evening out with my partner with enjoyable food. The class itself was not very informative or as hands on as other cooking schools I have been too. There was also very minimal technique, pairing suggestions or background information on the cuisine. It was more of a follow the book" type class. I have been to better cooking schools at much better prices

I have attended two Matters of Taste classes now; Smoked and Fired by Wood" and "Spanish Tapas". Both were incredible! The tips and instructions are insightful

After attending a number of Matters of Taste cooking classes, I can highly recommend them. Their fun up beat classes are suitable for people of all skill levels and various levels of interest in cooking. Tracey and her team combine a fun learning experience with delicious food. I always come away from the classes having gained skills that help in my everyday cooking and having had a great night.

Amazing experience - if only high school cooking classes were this fun, informative and good-tasting! I've returned three times and have plans to return again to reengage with the joys of the kitchen arts.

I have only wonderful comments to say about my experience at Matters of Taste cooking school. I attended the Chinese Dumpling class and it was a pleasure. Working with Tracey and a collection of 11 other students, it was a great learning experience to be a part of a hands on cooking class. Together we created a selection of delicious treats! Leaning practical skills as well as information about ingredients and flavour combinations, it was an overall good experience. Tracey was a lovely teacher! I highly recommend a Matters of Taste cooking experience.

On behalf of the team at David Wills and Associates I would like to thank you Tracey for the corporate class last night. Our team was made up of those who love to cook, and those who find it challenging but I can say that we all found the event so much fun. The standard of the produce was incredible and the recipes were fun to follow along with. The class catered perfectly for our mixture of vegetarians also which was so important. The final dishes was amazing and everyone took something from the class that I am sure will feature in our home kitchens in the future.A special thanks to Pauline for clearing up after us.I would highly recommend this for those office and corporate events.

My 2 girls aged 11 and 13 had a wonderful time with you. They met several new friends and acknowledged they learnt some great new kitchen skills. The staff were friendly and we plan to visit you again at the next school holidays. I would highly recommend Matters of Taste to parents. Frankly, it had a wonderful feel and lovely children in attendance. My children thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and that is the point. Thank you.

We went on a fabulous ”On the Hunt” truffle weekend with Matters of Taste Cooking School on the weekend down to Manjimup and Pemberton, WA. It was such a good time and a great way to have a short break where you are driven and everything is looked after plus you get to eat great food and drink great wine. We liked it because it was a group of just 22 people and everyone was great and foodie-minded like us. Tracey Cotterell and Anthony are the best tour organisers, hosts and chauffeur you could hope for.My beloved made a wonderful risotto tonight using: artichokes, shiitake mushroom, fresh peas, scallops, leek, celery, shallot, parsley, spinach, garlic, lemon zest, carnarolli risotto rice, stock, white wine, butter, white pepper, and with truffle we bought on the trip in the risotto and on top. Yum! The aroma was magnificent!

It has taken me over a year to write a review for Matters of Taste regardless that I am a Google Guide and attended about 7 of their classes. It was a very mixed experience of their professional layout and rude jibes. I started off very excited and enthusiastic but ended up not wanting to attend the last classes I booked. At the start I spent a lot buying the ingredients and reenacting the recipes with my kids within days of each class. Over a year later I do not include anything they taught as I cook for a family and not for entertainment. I am left with a bad taste in my mouth from the Matters of Taste experience. I am too often remembering their criticism for booking so many classes in advance, jibes that made me feel like an unwelcome groupie, an attack for doing things our of order when I was trying to save another participant. I do not throw people under a bus to explain myself. My advice is not to book more than 1 class in advance. Take a friend so you are less likely to get singled out.

I recently completed my 3rd class at Matters of Taste and enjoyed every moment (there's a reason why I keep coming back!). Tracey always makes the classes fun and encourages everyone to get involved and get their hands dirty. The classes cater for all levels of experience. As always I left with new knowledge and with a belly full of delicious food!
